The Saudi Arabia Amateur Radio Annual Meeting

The Saudi Arabia Amateur Radio Annual Meeting took place on 14 November 2014 at Alkhubar, Saudi Arabia. It is considered the biggest amateur radio gathering in our area because of the many radio amateurs and the strategic geographical location of Saudi Arabia.

The event starts with a welcoming speech from the organizers and follows with presentations on subjects of interest:
1.Islands on the Air by Abdulhafiz Kashkari, 7Z1CQ
2.Safety by Sulaiman Aljedaie, 7Z1SJ, and
3.Contesting Tips by Faisal Alajmi, 9K2RR

During the meeting, a trophy was awarded to Faisal Alajmi, 9K2RR, who was representing the IARU Region 1 in this event.

At the end of the meeting, there was a discussion with the organiser’s about the topics of their interests and how to solve them.
