Onde Lunghe ed Onde Medie: quale database?

Il sito di Herman Boel che ha istruito ed aiutato tantissimi di noi per tanto tempo, non è più mantenuto... che fare?

Agli appassionati di radioascolto delle Onde Medie e Lunghe non sarà sfuggito che Herman Boel non cura più il fantastico sito che con fatica, abnegazione e tanta passione teneva da tanti anni sempre costantemente aggiornato, sul quale si poteva davvero trovare tutto lo scibile delle Onde Medie, ma anche delle Onde Lunghe, con dovizia di tutti i particolari e tutte le informazioni utili a questa passione.



Il 12 dicembre del 2016 Herman Boel scriveva:

I have decided to no longer maintain the EMWG as from 1 January 2016 . There is not a single reason that led to this decision, it is a combination of factors which I won't go into (if you really do want to know, then mail me privately). For now I will leave the latest version of the list online. I may decide to make the source file (Excel) publicly available or I may end up taking everything offline. No decision there yet.

The European MW Station List by M1LOL

This site was originally inspired by a now defunct website, the Euro-African Medium Wave Guide. Because of a poor (to say the least!) home location I'm often out and about when MW DXing and I found the site an invaluable resource when coming across an unidentified station. This site is designed to make it as easy as possible to answer the question "what's that station?"

The site has been developed to be as simple and straightforward as possible to use on smart mobile phones and tablets. Very few images are used and very little bandwidth is required, making it ideal when out 'in the field' with a low-speed connection and low-power device.

On a technical level, the site is written in Python using the Django framework.
