The station is being set-up in the dock apartment complex of the Paya Bay Resort. The dock is on a small inlet (although it is called "the canal"). This is our "happy place". We spent the first 95 days of Honduras' COVID-19 lock-down staying at the then closed resort as the only on-site residents. The government allowed one of us off-site every other Thursday to buy groceries. Otherwise, we lived at the resort with the 3 beaches to ourselves and could pick bananas, limes and coconuts in the jungle. Neighbors (off-site) did some fishing for us and even cleaned the fish! As soon as Delta resumed flight sevice to the island (5 Jun 2021), we returned!
