The team leader of the CB0ZA February 2024 DXpedition, Marco A. Quijada, CE1EW (ex-CE6TBN and CE1TBN) has passed away. Born in 1973 and Licensed since 1987, over the past twenty years or so he operated from several IOTA groups, including rare ones such as SA-032 (CE6TBN/8 2004), SA-043 (CE6TBN/7 2002 and 2005; XR7T 2017), SA-053 (XR7W 2008), SA-085 (3G1P 2003), SA-091 (CE6TBN/8 2004), SA-094 (CE8A 2005, the first and so far only operation from that group), SA-098 (4T6I 2009). He also participated in various DXpeditions (e.g. CE0Z 2000 and 2002, XR0Y 2009 and 9N7MD 2011) and a large number of contests in the multi-operator categories.
